The past 3 days I have missed class for my FBLA state competition, but I have read over the material, and what interesting material it is. Throughout World War One I was appalled by the advances in the technology and the advances in weaponry. The ending of the war was rather unfair for lack of a better term. Germany was left out and given the shaft. "The Big Four" went to the treaty of Versailles and created Article 231, this article put the blame all on Germany. In my opinion German deserved a had slap in the face, but will it really solve the problem by putting all the blame on a country that did not even declare war first? Did this just result in poking a hornet’s nest with a stick and teaching no lesson at all the other forces in the central powers? Driving Germany into a recession that was nearly impossible to get out of and decimating their army, political system, economical system, and their land almost drove them to thoughts of Revenge. I really enjoyed this chapter and hope I am ready for the test tomorrow!
