The Age of Crisis
The age of crisis was a very bad time for the world, almost as a foreshadow for the events to come. This age of crisis started with the great depression because of WWI and the Rise of many dictators throughout the war. Hitler of Germany was obviously the biggest threat at this time. I love learning about Hitler and even though he may be one of the worst man ever he is one of my favorite persons to learn about. Then was Mussolini from Italy, he looked to be a good dictator with promising hopes of a rebuilt economy and armed forces but once he got into an allied power with Hitler things to bad. Learning about Mussolini was very enlighten because with so many other things going on during Mussolini's reign with the war you don't really hear a lot of information about him. And the last dictator we went in depth with was Franco who was a very interesting character and it was really interesting to hear about Spain before and after him and how different things were even with in just a few short decades. This was a great chapter in history to foreshadow the war and it was great to hear about how the war started and the term oil before instead of just learning information on WWII.
